Greetings All - I’m new to the forum. I live in the Chicago area. I’ve have 3 triumphs, 1968 Tiger, 1969 Bonni, 2005 Rocket III. I’ve had at least 20 bikes in my riding years and currently have a 1970 Royal Enfield Interceptor. I just picked up a 1998 T-Bird Sport at a junkyard auction . It looks ok, but has a few issues. Upon delivery, the guy delivering just dropped it on it’s side and left it there.
It was dropped and has some broken parts… needs new bars, twist grip assembly, left rear turn signal and stalk and more. It came without a key. Is the seat lock the same as the ignition on this year? Need to get a key, and not sure how to proceed. Can’t really begin to check out the bike until I get the basics.
