Does anyone know where we have to fill out the new ID details? Is it on arrival in Holland or on departure at Harwich ?
As I understand it a passport still valid for at least 3 months will suffice…

We did the ID bullshit upon arrival in Santander. A very handsome woman in uniform helped us through it

My ferry arrival at Rotterdam last week was the usual passport check booths with added tech to take fingerprints and mug shot. Guy just asked the usual why are you here (pleasure), where are you going, and how long you staying.

Well … we’ve arrived .. Thank feck we were in the comfort of an Air Conditioned car …!
Visa / Custom process a pain in the Ass. Took us an hour to get through but we felt lucky as many bikers were a lot longer Bikes were shuffled into one queue and they took ages to get through. All sat in the searing heat ..! We arrived in Roden to 35.5 degrees of heat . Stepped out of our car and it felt like a furnace.
Fair play to anyone arriving bin a bike today . Not much fun I’m sure.
We stopped off at a small town called Hoorn that we have been to a few times . A leisurely lunch was taken over looking the beach …!

That used to be one of the main ports for the Dutch East India company, when the IJsselmeer was still the Zuyderzee… Very pretty.
