Elsewhere on these electronic pages I may have muttered something about the Speed 400 being like Bonneville puppy. It seems like Triumph had the same idea (or stole mine!) as spy shots of a 400 Bonnie are doing the rounds.
According to Bike magazine, it’s a cosplaying Speed 400 with twin shocks, classic bench seat, bulbous fuel tank, low-slung exhaust and style-ignoring gaters. They reckon it’s probaby arriving in 2027 for around £5,400 in the UK.
I’d still go for the more, er, modern-looking Speed 400 but each to their own.
