I apologise to anyone who had to work today but being retired I had to get out in the sun. From Bath to Bradford-on-Avon. Cross country to Castle Combe and on to Sodding Chipbury (Chipping Sodbury), Thornbury and down to the M48 to cross the Old Severn Bridge.
On to the lunch destination. Firstclass Cafe in Chepstow.
We sat in the sun consuming a Sausage and Bacon Bap. The return journey was back to recross the Old Severn Bridge (looks the same as the first bridge picture) and down into Aust where the original boat crossing was located. On to Avonmouth (very industrialised) on to the M5 south to Gordano Services where we detoured to Failand and Barrow Gurney. From Barrow Gurney to Chew Magna and return to Bath. Approximately 100 mile round trip. I am sure my tan is starting to improve.
