Flash back, National Park Fuji Japan 2006

I was wandering through my photos, reminiscing and realized how many I took of all the bikes I saw while I was there, But there was something else, a ride report!
The bike: 2006 Honda CB 750

The destination: Mount Fuji

I brought my helmet, Aerostich suit, boots and gloves. I bought a messenger bag.

On my weekend off there I looked at some maps and made a plan.

Luckily a lot of roads are in English and I found my way.

They had this swan boat out on the lake.

The further I went into the mountains the less English there was on the signs. For a while I was memorizing my turns so I would remember my way back then realized I would just have to go down find my way back.
I made it back without a scratch on the bike which the rental guys seemed to be particularly nervous about..

Here’s a few pic’s of the bikes I saw there:

Bike’s everywhere! Not sure how many I can upload so I should leave it here. It was a great trip even though I had to work while I was there.

I hope that you have a good time looking at the photos.

I’d like to have a mooch around Japan someday. Interesting set of photos. (You can upload as many as you like.)

Was in Japan 1 year ago, and since I want to go back there and ride around the country.
Your pictures encourage even more.
Thanks for sharing.

Here’s some more photos from that trip. With a '98 Suzuki Bandit1200 at home at that time, Japanese motorcycles were on my mind while i was there..

I’ve been to Japan a couple of times for work. I’d love to go there just to ride.

I stayed in Yokohama both times I’ve been there. I don’t have any digital photos from my first trip back in '98 which was just a day of meetings before flying off to Singapore and Taiwan. In '06 I had to figure this out:

I believe this is where I rented the bike, but not quite sure… Here’s more pic’s

The Honda Spada looks similar to my RC31.
