The events calendar, accessed from the What’s On link in the forum banner, has been streamlined and is simpler to use.
There’s now only one category - Events. The calendar is always displayed on the category page, above the posts.
Adding an entry to the calendar is as simple as creating a new post and filling out the event form. See the extended About post for guidance.
Click on an event in the calendar to pop up an information card. Let people know you’re interested or going to the event by opening the post and selecting from the option buttons.
Add a location in the post and you’ll get a pin in the events map as well. Note that it’s not the location field in the Create Event form, you must search and select using the button about your post.
