)
Very nice. I like Guzzis.
Happy new bike day!
Very nice, always a fan of Guzzis, might have to get another one in the future ![]()
Brilliant, enjoy the Guzzi and being out there again.
Bike looks great.
Very nice bike! Enjoy
Just a quick run to check the crimp washers were torqued up ok after oil changes by the supplier… well that’s my excuse, not that I need one!
Sunny Birkrigg
I bet it was good to be out again!
It’s been soo long
Always fancied an early V7 actually and that stems back to before I bought my Bonneville (12yrs ago) so I’ve never cured that itch……
You can always have a trundle on it mate!
Happy new bike day. Lovely looking bike.
It would be rude not to ![]()
Bit of a shakedown tweaker ride today… got myself into a bit of a stew.
I’ve fitted a phone holder to the bike so I can use sat nav… thought I’d take it on a gentle shake down as it’s sunny, so went up to Torver and back and couldn’t believe the friggin’ clocks. The supplying garage had put new speedo on the Guzzi a little while ago to fix some electrical issue with the lights which was making the bike fail mot. Hence the clock showing lower mileage than what they told me it has previously done, fair enough, their story checks out with mot’s etc
Well on this little run out the mileage ran up from the low 400’s to 726 miles by the time I got home… couldn’t believe it! Bloody faulty Speedo!!!
Gonna have to contact the bloody garage back and arrange them to fix it and all the hassle behind that!!! ![]()
Then, when I was back at home in my garage, tweaking the phone holder, I looked again at the mileage… it says 72.6 miles when I look with my glasses on
(I couldn’t see the decimal point without them) which would make my original mileage in the low 40’s not 400’s and my shake down run to be about 30 miles… which of course, is correct!
What a fucking dickhead!!!
Anyway, a couple of pics from the ride!
Bit harsh @DCS222 !!! Easy mistake to make and even more so on your ‘first date’ with the new bike!!
Nice pics. and bike, by the way! Enjoy.
