Some new features and other tweaks have landed this month!
Rich Text Editor
There are two ways to edit posts. If you’ve been using the forum for a while you’ll be familiar with the traditional markdown. If you prefer a more ‘word processor’ type of experience, you can switch to the rich text editor using the button on the left of the edit window icon bar. In fact, you can switch between the two whenever you like while you’re editing your post.
Posting with the desktop version of the forum using markdown, you get the split screen effect, with your rendered post shown on the right (it’s called a ‘onebox’). With the rich text editor, it’s all in one window. This is probably most useful on a mobile where space doen’t allow for a Onebox to be displayed.

Favourite Chat Channels
To make it easier to find your most important conversations and favourite channels, you can now star your favorite channels, group chats, and DMs. After selecting the star icon in the channel name area, that channel will move to the Starred Channels section in the sidebar.
Image Carousel
Are your pictures getting lost within the gridded photo patchwork? Are they awkwardly cutting off crucial bits? Would you like them to be center stage? Despair no more! When you include multiple images in a post, you can now choose between displaying them in the default masonry grid or the new carousel mode. Switching is as simple as selecting the option in the top-right corner of the gallery in the rich text editor.
Note: The carousel is generated when you create the post - you don’t see it while in edit mode.
Bookmark Improvements
Some topics are very long (e.g. What Have You Done Wih Your Triumph Today) which can make it difficult to find an old post you know is in there somewhere! If you know what was typed you could use the search functionality, or you can bookmark a post. This isn’t new however, you can now find these bookmarks at the end of the topic, not just in your main bookmarks list.
