Most people who pay £44k for the Norton won’t be buying it to ride, they will be buying it to put in their collection, so the fact that the Aprilia is faster, half the price and probably better in every measurable way is largely irrelevant.
I agree, won’t see many on the road if any.
They might venture out to the odd bike gathering to be shown off I suppose. Bit of a shame.
Buy two, one for week days, one for best

There’s a new norton commando that goes past/to M6 J1 in the rush hours at a fair old rate of knots in the outside lane.
Makes a glorious noise and looks very very nice.
He/she doesn’t hang around (which is great to see as it’s being used properly)
