I recently bought a 2015 T214 that didn’t come with any documentation other than a title, no user manual or documentation of service. The bike only has about 5200 miles and is in very good shape, especially for an 11 year old bike in the “Great White North”. It had aftermarket exhaust and crash bars but also came with the original exhaust which I put on it right off the bat. Other thaan the crash bar and mufflers it appears to be in stock form. I’ve been trying to collect all the correct information on the bike but I seem to be finding a lot of conflicting information. My bike has a 19 inch front tire and a 17 inch rear. It has a triumph battery so I suspect it is original, at least my experience has been any motorcycle as old as this one is will have a second or third battery and rarely an OEM. Does anyone have information on a stock T214 that I can rely on? Even the info from Triumph seems to be questionable.
Does it not have a frame VIN?

Yes, of course it has a VIN or it couldn’t be sold but everything I’;ve seen so far says it should have a 17 in. front wheel. Mine has a 19" and it also has a grab rail which I think was added along with a crash bar but I’ve also seen some conflicting info about the 214 having a slightly different bore and stroke. Anyway I contacted Triumph USA to see if they could provide a user manual and they said I could only get that from a dealer and no dealers I’ve been able to talk to has one or seems to be able to get one. Just dandy.
The reason I asked about the VIN was the reason that Adie posted the Fowlers information, it might have helped with your specific search. I wasn’t questioning your intelligence or your integrity… I was hoping to present you with a research facility that you might not have used…

@DCS222 - “… as usual, you are a gent and a scholar …” HAHAHA … I was born in Liverpool ( Scouser/Scally/Thievin’ Scouse Git - choose your epithet of personal preference!) so being a ‘gent and a scholar’ is, to use an Americanism, counter-intuitive!

@FlyerDon the 19 inch front wheel on your T214 is probably the factory standard fitment. I found a (UK) ad. for the same model for sale here
If you scroll through the ad listing pictures you’ll find this one …
If you can zoom in on this, you’ll be able to see quite clearly that the front tyre (tire) size is a 100/90X19. It’s highly unlikely that the wheel has been changed so I think you can probably relax and accept that your bike’s wheels are original and that the size may well be specific to this ‘sub-model’ (one of many, I gather) of the Bonneville range.
