I didn’t want to miss the fine weather we are having so Thursday I had a ride around Wiltshire and the Marlborough Downs. We encountered a few white horses (chalk ones) and ended up at Honeystreet Mill Cafe near Pewsey (https://www.honeystreetmill.co.uk/about-3). Not the easiest place to find but fine bacon sandwiches.
A very pretty coloured Ditchpump and my mates ditch pump hiding behind my Speed Twin.
Today, being Billy no mates I rode through Wiltshire to Old Sarum Airfield which I have previously reported on. The fire at the airfield is devastating but like all good things it is rising from the ashes. A hot food van served a good bacon roll and lots of parachutists falling out of the sky. One interesting point is you can watch them reloading the parachutes.
If you look closely you can see a skydiver.
