Thanks! The issue is simple. I am getting old. Paddling around a 700 lb FJR with 60 lbs of weight of camping gear up high is a challage. Balance issues. My VFR and XT Vstrom are fine. I am buying the 900 GT Pro as it rides like a dream, has great luggage, is light, has heated grips and cruise control, etc. And my best friend has one. I am here to learn from others about the bike, any quirks, issues. etc. I am a govt licensed aircraft mechanic but at this point in life, I only do light wrenching. I wonder how often you all check your valve clearance and what you find? The shop here wants $1800 to check and set the valve lash. I have set the carbs/throttle bodies of many bikes over 60 years and seldom find much wrong. Known issues would be appreciated.
