After 8 years and probably 50,000 miles of riding my bike jeans are looking rather worse for wear…
They’ve been patched up by Mrs Mouse a few times as you can see.
I got them from JTS Biker Clothing and headed back there for a new pair, this time I went for the single layer jeans. AAA rated for what that’s worth. (Heard repeated several times how EU standards were watered down so non-leather garments can pass.)
As well as famous brands JTS also have there own range of clothing and they have a large size range, including in their jeans 5 different leg lengths. Whilst I was there there was a guy who’d ridden 2 hours to get there for a mesh jacket as they were the only place that did his size.

Got my wife’s jeans from there.
They certainly look as if they’ve given many hours of good service. I have a pair of Hood riding jeans on recommendation of my lads but I do feel most comfortable with leathers on.
I see that they have the short zip at the back to connect to your jacket. The Hood jeans don’t have this so I have to use a Dainese connector belt which provides a 360° zip enabling me to connect the jeans to any of my three jackets.
Zip came with my leather jacket (also from JTS) and Mrs Mouse sewed the loose half onto my jeans. Must admit I never use the zip, too irritating when you take jacket off when you stop.
They now do a connector for jeans that fits over your trouser belt, so no sewing required.
That sounds like the Dainese connector belt that I use with my Hood riding jeans.
