A day out with mates to the Somerset Levels. All cross country via Chew Valley reservoir and on to Cheddar Gorge.
Too many tourists to stop so on to my choice of place for lunch. Quickshifter Cafe, Wells. Having just ordered the Bacon and Sausage Bap the whole of the Avon and Somerset Police Motorcycle training turned up.
Nine bikes in total. Our return was through Shepton Mallet. I wasn’t expecting to see the Circus.
And home via Frome. A hot day and about 100miles.
Must have been an arresting sight.
Presumably they were spending their truncheon vouchers. 
They arrived three at a time. One marked bike and two junior peeps. They took up a lot of space in the cafe.
Nice twisty road, I’ve been considering getting a camera to attach to my helmet for that reason. It’s been hot across the globe, several areas in Minnesota reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and we came close to that temp in Duluth, 98 or 99 right next to Lake Superior, my truck reported 101 right next to the lake. I like that there are MC cops because they help with normalization of a better way to move. But if they went left, I’d go right.
