February 2nd is Yorkshire Pudding day
Excellent news Alfie…
Don’t get too thrilled over the pond though. The US Yorkshire Pudding Day is October 13th.
Being a Southern Softy I only know 'cause I got over excited and went to check with Mr Google - and also found out that a proper Yorkshire Pudding has to be over 2 inches tall.
I will inform the Admin Staff.
Paste your pud piccys please…

I know, I know ….
Cheating today …. But I am a southerner…
( I may or may not be married to a Yorkshire girl .!)
For some reason, I make a mean Yorkshire pudding. I have been inspired by today’s significant date to make Toad In The Hole for dinner later .
I’m older than Cumbria… it wornt invented when I were born… it was Lancashire then (or my bit was)
Aye, it were proper Lancashire then tha knaas
My wife is Scottish born and bred and had a Scottish father, but her mum was from Lancashire, so she has inherited a few Lancashire words. So I can understand why you folks are mithering about being involuntary Cumbrians.
