This is the mechanism in exploded view.
When the clutch lever is pulled in the brass slide moves down compressing the spring, the cable adjustment is done by the top adjuster where the cable sits in, the pressure plate adjustment is done by moving the larger adjuster up or down this then allows the lever too be set for where you want the biting point on the clutch pack, this mechanism has also made the gear selection so much easier & smoother.
