There was a program on the bbc a good few years ago about women in road racing. Suzi Perry’s queens of the road. It’s probably still available but I can’t check out bbc because I refuse to pay them money. Road racers command my full respect

One thing mentioned during todays Superbike coverage that I hadn’t really considered, the FIM Women’s World Championship will allow the contestants to “go professional”.
(Obviously a larger number than would otherwise achieve that in existing championships)
Good point. That’s going to make a significant difference in such a competitive environment.
