Thanks mate, Still waiting to ride it to see how it goes.

Tigcraft.
Will check it out later for you. But the dealer said the seat had been lowered. Probably have to change it back as i am a reasonably long legged rider.

Well peeps took the Honda out today. Hated it from the word go. Pressed the back brake a few time then no back brake at all nothing. The bike was soft and wallowed in every corner. And really needed a handful of throttle to get it going properly. I think someone has played with it and it needs putting back to the way it should be.
Joe

Recent Honda don’t normally have shit brakes… might not be awesome, but not shit. Get the supplier to sort it!

Surprised to hear that Joe, hopefully something simple needs adjusting and not a characteristic of the bike

Hopefully things can be sorted @Joe to get the bike to where you’d like it.

Agree but i lost the rear brake altogether. Hoping it might be air or failed slave cylinder. Front is sharp but just ordered new pistons and repair kit as it needs it.

Yes as said i have ordered new pads and repair kit for the front. The suspension i believe someone has over softened it. My boy is going to check that for me as he sets up his own on his race bike and is really good at it. Will keep you all in the know.

@MrsVisor Yes i think we will get it sorted. Just playing with it at the moment to try to improve it. And as said to @Andyc1 my Son is going to check the shock as he is very good at that sort of thing.

Yes a Honda that goes on forever and is low maintenance don’t you just love it. Honestly i would prefer the earlier model. And another Bonneville is on the back burner for now and don’t know if it will be a classic or Meriden.
Joe

PatW.
Thought I’d just show you first. Honda is gone and been replaced by a 2010 Bonneville.
