Yes the tiger is proving to be a great ride. Yes Andy’s final ride was good with us as out riders.
And I’m sure he would have had something to say about the day. RIP Andy.
And finally…
Day 4 and homeward bound..
On our final morning at the hotel we again had an all you can eat breakfast, before setting off for home. Our route would take us south avoiding the motorways until we got down to the Preston area where we picked the M6 for the final miles to Cheshire and home.
We travelled on the A75, and onto the A7 at Gretna down to Carlisle, and then the A6 to Penrith. Sticking with the A6 we followed on via Shap, to Kendal and Lancaster. Getting through Lancaster was a ball ache, which I won’t be doing again. We continued on down the A6 until we made the M55. An unfortunate wrong turn onto the motorway seen us travel along to Blackpool, not what we had planned for, but hey ho mistakes do happen on the road. So back along the M55 to the M6 and the final run home.
An eventful fun packed day to finish our mini tour. Now where to next.
