Today in 1997, little Francesco Bagnaia began his journey towards the 2022 and 2023 MotoGP World Championships. Beaten last year by the exemplary performance of Jorge Martine, he was composed and generous in his post race comments despite his obvious, intense disappointment. Not just a stupendously fast rider but a gentleman in defeat. Happy Birthday, Pecco!
