Phelon & Moore, well known for their single cyclinder machines, launched their first 90 degree V-twin in 1914. It featured a four-speed gearbox at a time when the American V-twins (Harley-Davidson, Indian, Excelsior) were still using 2-speeds. The 770cc engine was rated at a robust 6 hp. It appears only a handful of the twins were built, though it appeared in catalogues until 1916.
