20 November - J.H .TT Racer Report

The Blue 'Un ran a small piece on the virtues of James Howarth’s TT racer with its MAG engine

Howarth had been the general manager at Bradbuty & Co. (so many lost names) and decided to use his extensive experience to have a crack at producing his own motorcycles at his engineering works in Oldham, England. With 31 years under his belt, Howarth had been involved in motorcycles for as long as there had been motorcycles. As with many machines of the day, they used Villiers, JAP and MAG engines across their range of models.

Sadly, the Great War saw the end of JH in 1916.
