Everyone loves a double bill. In 1968, five years (and a day) after the exhilaration and tension of The Great Escape, another film famous for featuring a bike was released in France - The Girl On A Motorcycle.
Starring Alain Delon (Daniel) and the Marianne Faithful (Rebecca), the erotic, romantic drama, based on the 1963 novel, La Motocyclette, was the first film to receive an ‘X’ rating in the United States.
Two motorcycles feature - a Norton Atlas (the replacement for the Dominator)…
and Rebecca’s own Harley Davidson Electra Glide.
No spoilers - watch the film.
