Aprilia’s flagship RSV4 superbike was unvelied in 2008 at the International Piaggio Group Convention in Milan. It was Aprilia’s first four cyclinder production bike with a claimed 180hp at 12,500 rpm and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque. Two versions were available, the standard RSV4 Factory and a limited edition RSV4 R, with only 350 units made.
Due to a shortage of exhaust parts, the early bikes were filtted with old megaphones.
