I don’t pay these people, honest. 
Just found out that with the Online Safety Act coming in to force I have to write a risk assessment and work out how the forum manages online safety effectively. Even more work to do next year. 
It’s quite serious, actually. Some forums are closing up shop rather than risk hefty fines.

Yes! 
There’s a vibrant community support forum for Discourse (which we use) with the developers themselves heavily involved. I imagine there’s eomething similar for Xenforo and others, too.
There’s some guidance but no template, unfortunately. It’s going to be a bit more involved than that.

Yeah, with all seriousness though… I gotta add my personal thanks here too. It’s good to have a community of like minded folk, who aren’t drones, with which you can converse, discuss opposing opinions, congratulate, celebrate, take this piss out of etc… without risk of handbags being lifted in a flurry of offence! This community requires a little “butter-pat” slapping to keep in shape and thankfully, Saul is our Butter-Pat slapper!!! He’s provided the board on which we’ve been collected, and with deft caress, he’s been able to allow us our shape!
The fact he’s a nice guy and can play the first solo of Sloe Gin is just annoying though… cheers you old slapper!

Also from me …. Thank you Saul for having the (must be) nicest mannered forum in a while and from where I see it hassle free. It might not be as technical as some but it’s definitely friendly.
