Ad blockers

On a different subject but IT related…thankfully not in this parish..
Does anybody use an ad blocker on their tablets?
I mostly use safari for browsing but have noticed that many of the websites I visit have an ever increasing ad content that makes the web pages unusable.
@octoberon … any suggestions ?
I need a simple solution for a non technie fossil….!

Ta in advance…

I use Vivaldi and it has a built in ad blocker.

I use Norton Anti Virus which includes loads of extra functionality, including a VPN. I also clear my internet history and cache every time I close my browser.

Hope that’s not too technical. :slightly_smiling_face:

I use Firefox rather then Safari on the Mac. Privacy and ad-blocking comes via Ghostery, uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger. VPN is from Proton as they’re privacy focussed as an organisation and don’t keep logs and have endpoints available around the world.

Adblock Plus is a good free download., easy to use. I also use Kaspersky Security and VPN.
