All about me.... Sorry about this being a bit like reading war and peace...lol

I have been riding bikes since I was probably around 13-14 ish. I was lucky that my Dad had a couple of acres behind the house so had somewhere to go. And it also helped that i had older brothers to encourage.. I also have a twin brother but I’m sorry to say that he didn’t have the same gene pool when it came to anything to do with a motorbike..

So we got hold of a Honda graduate 50cc step through thing that was good enough for a while to ride up and down the field on.. then it got boring.. so we ended up with a Lamberetta with gears which made it a wee bit more interesting.. And something else to put right when the thing played up..

My first (legal) bike on the road was obviously a Fizzy.. had to be didn’t it..lol.. which lasted around 8 weeks before I had an accident with a ford Fiesta.. caught it going round a corner and ended up hitting the car around the wing mirror, which on that model was fixed at the time and also made quite a big hole in the top of my right thigh.. and i had black and blue bruising from my right hip down to the hole in my leg, including the ole meat and two veg…

So anyway ended up on crutches for a while, which I did return to hospital when I borrowed a mate at the times fizzy with a 65cc big (really) bore kit on it.. went like f*ck for fizzy.. alright let me have a moment while i remember with fondness what doing 49-50 and a 1/2 ish miles per hour felt like at 16 yrs old….

I haven’t got enough time to recall much of the antics I have performed and mostly got away with over the years..

As I just mentioned I din’t get away with all of them and have had to allow the police to keep my drivers license warm and dry in one of their upstairs desk draws a few times along the way as well.. Not proud of it but it is all part of my rich motorcycling life and tapestry that I have lived..

Not being big headed, and wish I had kept my old XS 1100s ,but I have been very lucky and have managed to keep some of the bikes I have owned over the years, Which include my first Harley which is 2002 Roadking, which didn’t stay standard for too long and at the moment is tuned and has a stage three big bore kit on it.. With a set of hooker slip on pipes, which are very good at making the hairs stick up on the back of your neck when you twist the loud part that they call the throttle..

I also have a 1966 Harley generator shovelhead chop which is just a money pit, but again I love it.

Then the next one is a Harley Sport Glide which I brought earlier this year, to slow me down a bit.. yer right, that’s going to happen..

I have the T120 which I bought with my pension lump sum, which is virtually new with really low miles.. Hopefully that will change when I get over to Scandinavia later this year if I can get it set up nicer than it is at the moment…. Hence joining this forum to try and glean some info from you guys that have a far deeper knowledge of Triumphs than I have…

So like I have said earlier today to some of you that have welcomed me into the group…. I appreciate any help and knowledge that anyone can give me in getting my T120 how I want it to be , especially as we are planning on riding 10-12 000 miles on the trip.. so it has to be a bit comfortable………………………………..

Sorry for the waffling but as you can hopefully tell I am really passionate around anything motorcycling..

Take care all ….Chris

Ps all..

I did try and add all of this to my profile but it is too long (over 3000 characters) to be able to use as my profile.. so I wasnt going to just waste it so you can all have a look at it on here instead..
