How that works? is the “Hammer” mention means it’s been sold at the displayed price?

You are correct. Hammer price is the sold price.

There are also commission fees plus VAT to be added to the hammer price.

There were a couple of interesting “bargains” to be had for the person prepared to put in some work… I thought this had potential to either be restored as is, or stripped back and sold to the hipster brigade…
(And given the 6 years it would take me to do such a job… it’d be Tax free by then too… 
)
