Bike and Brew 2026

@MrsVisor started a thread about the 2025 passport, which was an excellent idea, so here’s one for 2026.

I’m ordering a couple of passports, first time, for our own excursions this year. Any excuse to get the bikes out in the sunshine, really.

So who else is taking part - let’s see what we think of the places in the list.

(I may move a couple of posts on this topic to here from other threads.)

Ride to Herdwicks at Coniston for a brew with an ex-workmate on his Benelli and his mate on a Speed master. God that was loud!

Got my first Bike +Brew stamp

Third stamp today on my way over to Bolton-le-Sands - The Copper Kettle at Reeth.

I got my second stamp here on Friday. First one on Wednesday when I collected my passport from Seaways.

There aren’t many up here in Yorkshire, I might have to do a few weekends away!

Fourth stamp at Glasson Dock - weather near perfect :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I nearly called there today! Tried Bulls Beck brew stop on A683 but they were shut so I went to Casterton Golf Club and got a stamp there

Was going to call at Bulls Beck on the way back, but realised it might be shut on a Monday. Golf club is on my list along with Seasons Bakery in Ingleton

Another two stamps today. Puddleducks at Dunsop Bridge and Wild Buck at Clitheroe, birth place of William Henry McCoy, my Grandad

We tried Riverbank Tearooms at Slaidburn but it was closed due to staffing issues. Ah, well, another ride out.

Called at Preston Sportsbikeshop while we were out.

Looks closed… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Only from this side, but it was the only clear shot I could get with the bike :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I was at Cletwr in Tre’r-ddol, Machynlleth SY20 8PN

Very nice Welsh Rarebit and fry-up, tea tasted nice, but not the biggest pour. It is a Bike n Brew passport place, but I was in a car delivering my lad back to university, so I didn’t take a photo and it doesn’t count!
