Are there any motorcycle insurance companies that offer discount or special deals for the fairer sex ?

There’s been a few companys for car insurance, Sheilas wheels was one. Don’t know if they done bikes… Or even if they still exsist, this was going back a few years. The LGBLTQ+ brigade probably got them in the shit :joy:

I could be wrong, but wasn’t sex based insurance quotes banned a few years ago?

Yes; was about to post this - can’t get cheaper insurance based purely on gender any longer.

I thought that insurance for women was generally cheaper than men because statically women have less expensive accidents than men, so are a lower risk.

There are several “women only” motorcycle clubs - WIMA being (probably) the foremost. Might be worth contacting them to ask if they have specialist broker/insurance providers listed?

We are in the main lower risk, but you are unable to provide insurance based purely on gender as a characteristic, if that makes sense? So no more “women only” policies. It is a factor that is considered alongside all others though.

They’re owned by eSure, which itself is now owned by a big American private investment company called Bain Capital.
