I honestly thought this was a put on. It’s a 350 oilfield and an ex old bill.
Watch from about 14 minutes in. I honestly think that if you can’t pick your bike up then you shouldn’t be on it. What’s he gonna do - call the missus when he next forgets to put the kick stand down and falls over somewhere in Yorkshire.
I know we can’t all be he-man and I’m anything but. However, I know I can pick any of mine up.
There are methods to learn and there are even aids that help to lift bikes, there’s not always gonna be people around to help.
The bikes will go when I can’t lift them, I’ll be getting a C90 and customising that.
Even fast forwarded, that was a tedious video… but you have a point. I’ve not had to lift the Tedium on my own but I’ve always felt like I would have been able too

(Anyone fancy lending me their Tiger for half a day totally unrelated matter… honest!)
It’s only 195kg fully fueled. I had to pick my 1st GS up on 2 seperate occasions and with the correct technique I had no problem getting that back vertical before someone saw me . That was 250kg and I’m only a 5’7" short and 11 stone old git. Poor chap had no idea, bent back trying to lift it with his arms and upper body rather than having a straight back and using his leg muscles and leverage. He had it in neutral too which didn’t help. Bless…
