Bonneville tyres

Tyre thread alert…
As a celebration, (and an MOT verbal advisory) I thought I would start looking for a new pair of tyres for the 790 T100. It has, I think, the original Metzeler on the front and a reasonable but aging Avon Road Rider on the rear. Who likes Avons and who likes another make?

Not much experience with bonnie tyres but mine came with Michelin road classics instead of the Pirelli Phantoms. Cant fault them.

I’ve got Roadriders on one of my classics and like them. I replaced the horrible original Phantoms on my Street Twin with Conti Road Attack 3s, and they are great for both handling and grip. I see that there’s a Road Attack 4 out now.

Avon Roadriders :ok_hand:t3:

Had Avon Roadriders on both my bonnevilles (790 T100 and 865SE) seems to be the preferred option. They are also on my Guzzi v7 and work well :sunglasses:

AVON. British (ish!) bike, British (at the moment) tyres.

I had Avon Roadriders on my Street Cup and loved them. I also use them on my classic Yamaha 2-stroke. :+1:

Thanks for the valued comments chaps, looks like Avons have won the competition.
