Calne Bike Day 2022

What a crowd, I think every biker decided to turn up for the event this year. It is the first event at Calne since 2019 and it was heaving. Me and Mrs Alfie could only stand the weather for 4hrs. Very humid.

Well worth a visit. The local council open the town hall for storage of Helmets and Jackets £1 each item and there were loads of food stalls to fill your boots.

Marshals were directing bikes to available parking slots when we arrived at 10.00am but it did become a free for all and bikes parked anywhere.

Yes. It was quite full. Harleys everywhere. But there were a few nice ones to dribble over

Didn’t like the beachcombers or the prism too much but a great little thing

Lovely work on this one. A BM that I’d actually not mind having

The paintwork would need changing but a nice original pre unit

Checked up with Eddie on the way back through Chips and Ham

Then stopped off at Castle Coombe, sailed right in for free and parked up next to these absolutely wonderful little 500s. Blimey they were well zippy on the track.

Loads of very neat stuff there. A Bugatti that looked like it had just completed the 24hr Le Mans

And a long chat with the owner/driver of this single seater.
