Did you ever watch the presentation by the wonderful Swedish statistician Hans Rosling? He changed my mind completely on the reason for population growth, it wasn’t overbreeding, it’s better healthcare. More of the world is surviving childhood and we are just surviving longer. There’s a lot more to it and if you have the time and haven’t watched him his presentations are definitely worth seeking out.
Sorry, I don’t mean to preach, but he was a great orator.
