Having seen both in full flow I’m not sure you’ll remember any of it!

Top tip, keep Dilli off the JD for as long as possible

That is truly a great response :joy::joy::joy:

No, the kind gentleman had a trolley jack table that he was giving away (to make a bike lift) but he wasn’t about when I collected it, but his Mrs was … thank you ma’am!

He said this weekend is the big test whether he can physically cope with it, If so, some tinkering might ensue…

That looks far too sensible for Dilli

What happened to the Can-Am?

No idea. Never met the legend before so I am an for a baptism of fire!
If I don’t return from Gretna, it was nice knowing you all!

He might still have it. He told me the Honda was a try-out seeing if he could manage on two wheels again.

Yes this weekend has been a test for @dilligaf and his Honda. The weekend is the Dragon rally in north Wales, where the hard core bikers go in the dead of winter and camp out.
I met @dilligaf at Lymm services on the M6 with four of his mates from the Grimsby area. The five of them going to the rally, but not before an overnight stop in Bala.
As the area is local’ish to me I led them over the north Wales moors to the hotel we were staying at in Bala.
Having checked in we proceeded to the bar for some refreshments. After a few drinks we wandered up the high street for fish, chips and mushy peas for our tea. Once fed and watered we went back to the hotel bar for a night of drinks and great craic. God I had forgotten how much @dilligaf likes his JD’s. What a great night.
On Saturday morning we had breakfast and I set off for home leaving @dillagaf and his mates to head for the rally meet point.
My ride home was circa 1.5hs. When I left Bala the temperature was 2c but by the time I had got out on to the moors it had dropped to 1c and it started to snow. It must also have snowed over night as the hills were covered. The roads were difficult, so I just took it nice and steady all the way home. The temperature had got up to 4c making the last bit a bit more comfortable.
All in all great mini trip, with great friends. I now looking forward to my meet with @Dawsy, @Vulpes and @dilligaf in May.
PS: No pictures as what goes on on tour stays there lol :+1::blush:
