1400 page technical guide for the Shovelhead in two 700 page books by Donny Petersen.
He won several International Book Awards with his eleven volumes on Harley Davidson guides from flat head to twin cams.
Looking forward to getting stuck into them for the next project.
His shop, Heavy Duty Cycles, in Toronto is still going I think. His background with clubs is erm… notorious but the books are a really good read if you are into motorcycles.
The last volume 10 is ‘Living the Dream’ which is practical advice and guidance for high mileage riders when he crisscrossed South America, Europe and South Africa to God’s Window.
(I’ve been there, it’s in Transvaal and looks out over a mountain pass/valley but don’t really remember 'cause it was some time ago - getting on for half a century - blimey, you old git).
