In a world of clickbait and polarisation for profit, I though this was this is quite a balanced article. There are sound reasons not to enact legislation that will undermine classic bikes and restorations. Re-use is better than recycling is a strong case.

We are talking about politicians who do not think about sound reasons when making policy.
In my working days, I was used to having to back up my recommendations and decisions with evidence as a matter of course. Sadly the same doesn’t seem to apply to all decision-makers. Starmer’s planning ‘reforms’ are a fine example.
