I started watching bike sport in the 90’s when it came to Sky and Eurosport. Anthiony Gobert was a bit like the Shane Warne of motorcycles, and now it appears he’s going the same way.

There was a brief moment of wildness and excitement with Gobert that’s often lacking in modern paddocks. Sad news.

Yeah he was a revelation in that Phillip Island race. His arse looked huge on his white leathers :smile:A pure natural talent.
