I prefer smaller silent roads β¦ and those we have here
The scenery looks spectacular!
And not a pot hole in sight β¦
Some roads can be in a bit of bad shape right now after the winter season. The frost in the ground will go pretty deep this North and it will make things challenging. But they will try to fix all those just as it is possible.
In England they leave them until small cars can disappear into them then they might fix them.
Oh, I have never really been in England, but I think England is much ahead of Finland?
Here our gravel roads are especially challenger now in spring times. Many farmers will repair those with their tractors (before the growing seasons really start here).
Wow! They must be a bit scary on a bike!
I normally will start to ride just as the gravel roads have dried.
Of course, my Tiger will behave pretty nicely on those, my earlier bike was more challanger.
PS: It was not a easy job to find more suitable tires for that.
I must say your Tiger is much more attractive than the Guzzi
When I had changed the bikes (in one local motorcycle shop), my mom asked has the new one more power or about the same amount?
I answered β¦ I guess about the same as motor sizes are 750 vs 800. My dad stayed silent / did not say anything β¦ he still has his old BMW RS 1100 in the garage. I bet he knew betterβ¦
Calling Finland the land of lakes comes from somethingβ¦
The last Ice Age strongly shaped the region.
