Government to ban ICE motorcycles from 2040
Well it had to come eventually. Don’t think it will have an impact on me.

So that’s my last NEW bike at age 85 then. 
Oh well, I’ll have to make do with a used one after that.

No worries.
Motogp will be in its 14th year running 100% synthetic fuel.
We’ll all be down the allotment (with still in shed) growing our bio fuel.
And Greta will be a middle aged housewife picking up her kids from (special needs) school in her Range Rover.

By then all new cars will be autonomous and driving as such will be obsolete so not surprising really.

Originally it was cars in 2030 and bikes in 2035. They put cars back 5 years to 2035, so they’ve now done the same with bikes.
Still plenty of time for further delays

Any announcements of future intentions by the current UK government in its last few weeks/months of existence can’t really be given much weight. Who knows what a future government may decide?

Bet you’d need a permit for a push iron in 2040 and all shagging will be done by machines without any human input too
