Thanks both. I like doing all the technical bits you don’t see, it’s fun, and I enjoy the rest just like everyone else. :slightly_smiling_face:

Well done Saul - I can’t pretend to know what it is you do behind the scenes but it’s much appreciated :sunglasses:

I’m rustling up something at the moment that will be a unique feature of any bike forum. When I can get it working.

Two years? Far canal - where does it go?

SAUL - you didn’t just build - and shape - a forum, you built a community that has become (for me, at least) one of THE best places to be on a regular basis. A lot of it’s atmosphere, feel, form and function stem directly from what you have created - it’s a testament to you and a real pleasure to be on board!

Blimey. Thanks Adie. I really appreciate that. I’ll get the cheque in the post today.

Tis true though. Many thanks :+1:

If I agree with Adie, I get a cheque too? All jest aside, he’s right though. Cheers for your efforts, Saul.

Not only will you get a cheque the same as Adie, you will be equally disappointed with the remuneration.

Sorry, I did not know this forum was that young. You have done great job in short period to get all running and to have regular active member base. Plus your ‘‘prize system’’ is pretty special/unique even among of all of kinds of normal forums.

Sorry, I’m often simply too talktive girl and pretty direct person and now I’m bit worry that I can open up can of worms … but understand I have not decades experiences of bikes (or bike forums), not even many years experiences and I come from Moto Guzzi world (there was only one real internet forum for those bikes) … so I admit I have been surprised how many different Triumph bikes forums there are. Not that I would complain. One even in Finland (which site/forum pages just have been down since end of last year :slightly_frowning_face:). I guess different forums have different histories. some been more USA focused some Europe etc?

@Arctic_fox don’t worry - the forum might be young, most users aren’t! :joy: and talkative is good - don’t worry about that either!

We’re very glad to have you as part of the forum! It’s a community with a common interest but bikes aren’t all we can talk about and interaction is the key to making it work. You’re doing a great job on that front.

There are a few Triumph forums that have been around a while. The platforms are quite old technically. This one is a bit different but modern and more flexible: That said, it’s the people that really make it what it is. They’re a good bunch here!
