Nearly got the engine out until I realised the coil was still connected to the points. Had to balance it half out while I went round the other side to disconnect.
Bloody heavy too.

Let the games begin…. hahaha….
I must say im envious of the suspension, mines a hard tail…. im getting too old for hard tails.. Im trying to incorporate a Sprung Lycett seat on mine but I cant get it lined up properly to stop it skewing off to the left when your riding it…. Im getting to the stage where I dont really give a monkeys what other people see when they look at it, im doing it for me to ride not them.. Thanks again for the info on the gasket sealent for my Triumph exhaust , it makes sense, i just hadnt given it a lot of thought to go down that road, I was totally pissed off when I was trying to get it sealed up nicely last week, so anyway I have ordered some now, hope to get it done in a couple of days, Just hope they don’t spit the dummy at my local MOT station…
Not really any suspension there as I’ve moved the springs as far back as possible by having threaded holes along the swinging arm that take a bottom spring mount. I’ve been musing about getting a Paugcho rigid frame (I don’t really want to weld on a hardtail as I want to keep the original frame).
Weld on a couple of these to the frame crossmember, or a plate welding where you want them to hold the bottom of the springs
