I found these:
'‘The Booster wild animal warning device warns and prevents accidents with wild animals by producing ultrasonic sounds.’’
It looks like they sell 4 units sets for cars and 2 units sets for motorcycles. They wouldn’t cost much, but I’m just wondering if they would really help? Possible elks, deers etc.
As we prepare for years a travel to the artic circle (with currently no time to kick off), I considered those. We can’t make sure those will prevent any collision, but in case it works, we even don’t see the result
So, I will probably put a pair on the pickup.

You meant something like this?
Anyone coming from ‘‘south’’ (Central Europe etc.), be careful with reindeers (if you’ll ride north enough here). They really can just come on the road like that … and do not care/fear cars or bikes. So be carefully, ride a bit slower, and enjoy the view.
Other than that … here are elks and 3 different deer species.

Never had an issue on my bike, but a few near miss’s with deer through the years in my car… not 100% convinced the system shown would have made any difference in those situations. We also often have cows and sheep on the road… if this system could demonstrate a clear advantage with docile domestic bovidae, then I may be more convinced with the wild ones.
I’ll have a look out for them next August!
If you do not go northern than Tornio … I doubt you will see reindeers.
You should go to the northern side of the the Arctic Circle.
But you can always face elks or these …
This one did not like the new wild animals camera in his ‘‘backyard’’.

I’m planning to go as far North as Rovaniemi to at least “cross” the Arctic circle… I’ve read about bears near Kusaamo, which is also on my route. I did see this in Romania in 2023:

Those might be smaller than ours?
The large Carnivore center is in Kuusamo. Tickets: 15euros.
