Last ride in the mountain 2 days ago, I noticed an annoying aerodynamical noise in my Shark helmet. I noticed the vizor had an issue on a side, something broke around the pivot. So I’ve been to the closest retailer to purchase a replacement vizor..
60 eur the vizor + 30 euros for the pinlock.. hmm it’s 90 euros for a 7 years old helmet..
Let’s have a look at the special offer they have… Tried a few, but didn’t want to spend a lot.
Tried HJC F71 models. Very comfortable, much lighter (glass fiber composite), enlarged vision, included pinlock, and with the special offer, I only spent 242 euros.

I immediately appreciated the difference on the ride home. Impressive confort and feature for the price.

Short feedback after a 2h ride under hot temperature (30°C).
The ventilation is very efficient, the smoked inner screen is much better than my previous helmet, bigger, and not too dark.
The only detail I regret is the vizor first opening “step” is too open. For winter ride a slightly open position will be missing.
