I opened a thread not long ago asking for opinions about what model of thruxton should I go for… As expected, I ended up buying whatever I liked the most, and I can now say I’m the proud and happy owner of a 2006 carburated Triumph Thruxton.
I absolutely love the bike. I was a little bit concerned about the sporty position and I was thinking in replacing the top yoke for the one of the newer models, but I actually find the bike much more comfortable I thought it would be, perhaps because I’m quite tall.
I just need to do some maintenance to it and figure out how to add some mileage (Kms) to the odometer (it’s been replaced and both the original and the new one show less miles than the bike actually has, which I don’t like at all.
