I quite like this. The electric motor is in the rear rim leaving more room in the frame for batteries.
Crazy torque figures and equally crazy price!

That is one of the better looking electric bikes I have seen. Still not ready to give up my ice bike though.
Interesting design, BUT…
More batteries in the frame (be it increasing the oft lacking range) equals even more kerb weight.
Motor in the rear wheel equals high unsprung weight there, generally regarded as a bad thing. And then some of that unsprung mass will be rotating at a large radius generating gyroscopic forces.
I’m with @Wessa , ICE will see out my biking career.
(Pretty though)
Weight on the website is listed as 245kg which combined with a low seat height of 780mm seemed pretty good for an electric bike. I agree that the extra unsprung weight by having the motor in the wheel seems odd, but I guess the proof would be in the riding.
At £35k to £55k it’s way out of my price range anyway and I’ll always be choosing an ICE bike over electric while they’re still a viable option.
Absolutely. The sound and feel are just so.much better.
If I had to commute every day I would consider an electric bike/car.
Definitively.
But seeing as your only commute is from the sofa to the kitchen and vice versa…
and if I decide to go upstairs I can commute with my electric lift
I agree they can make sense in an urban environment, but not given the price premium.
Unless you get one of the cheap Chinese ones before the EU implements massive tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles.
Don’t worry though, I’m sure stairlifts will remain exempt
“Starting” at over €33,000 I don’t think so…not that I want one but you can buy the new Kia EV3 SUV EV for around that money.
Riding an E bike must be a bit like shagging a blow up doll, just not like the real thing. Not that I’ve tried either of course!
That range doesn’t sound promising, 124ish miles in ideal conditions, steady 90kph, 75kg ish rider.
Agree re looks with the exception of those horrid orange coloured cables.
Shape reminds me of the original 990 superduke.
