There’s a new option in the sidebar to send someone (or someones) an invitation to the forum.
If you click Edit link options you can change the number of users and when the link expires. If you want to have the invitee added to a group when they join you can do that, too.
Please note, the Restrict to option will result in an unhelpful error when you click Save because the forum has a setting enabled to help keep members’ email addresses private.
