Have anyone used these kinds?
Is there a risk that those could stuck too tightly because of
1.) heat,
2.) corrosion (metal to metal),
or
3.) dirt?
How about if putting some oil on those?

I have used them in the past. No problems with them on the bike, but the thieves was another story. I think they lasted about 3 weeks before somebody helped themselves to them.
I’ve also used metal dust caps without a problem. Not branded ones so they didn’t get nicked. It’s usually me who loses then first.
All that unsprung weight ruining the handling!
Never bothered with the branded, nickable ones but both the Transalp and Street Triple have metal caps - no problems so far.
I think it’s spelled ‘nickel’.
Not if you live in Liverpool …
