Misfiring 2018 Speedmaster

So, today, whilst doing a bike service I make an interesting discovery in the left-hand side airbox…

That’s a kitchen roll sheet which I often use for cleaning jobs on bike, or for cleaning visor when out on a ride. Guess it got blown into the area under the seat and sucked into the airbox when I started the bike.

It may be the cause of the misfiring I had, though it’s interesting that it was in the left airbox, and it was the right spark plug that had the extra soot (which you’d expect from lack of air to complete combustion). So I’m not totally convinced it’s the cause. Also, bike has done about 300 miles or normal running since the misfiring incident, so the tissue obviously wasn’t making much difference. Just an extra layer of filter :slight_smile:
