My riding season will finally start

Based on the weather forecast … I will take my bike out 1st of May. Just 3 days to go :grinning:. That is good day, as it is local holiday here. I could ride one shorter trip (have a cup of coffee somewhere etc.).

Feels bit unreal as the bike has stayed inside since mid September.

Mine is yet to start and the forecast is looking pretty rubbish for a few days yet…
Enjoy it if you get out…!

The winter has been mild but very wet in my part of the world (East Anglia), but there have been days when I’ve managed to get out on the bikes. I did manage to get out for an hour or so on Thursday on the Speed Twin (before it started raining again) but the weather for next week is looking like rain every day. It’s tipping it down today :slightly_frowning_face:

Raining here in the Peaks so no riding today. Planning to get up to Wray on Thursday.

Next week will look like this here:

Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Friday

Wednesday looks good enough, plus like I said it is common holiday here.

Which part are you in? Looks like heated grips will be needed in the north.

Look that map of Wednesday. Start from south coast and go slowly up via the west coast. You see that +15C and bit above it mark of Sun? I live more a less between those two marks. Yes, I’m living in Swedish speaking area of Finland. My father is actually Swedish, my mom Finnish-Swedish. I have dual nationality.

Should be warm and sunny enough.

As long as you head south, it’s looking very pleasant.

Weather forecast here has miraculously changed for the better, so I’m optimistic there will be some more riding days this week :+1:

Horrid here, wet and windy, may be better towards end of the week. :crossed_fingers:

We may moan about our weather, but a friend who lives in Oklahoma City sent me this:

Spring has hit OK and the tornado season came in strong. We are all fine with no damage. They jumped around all day.

Thoroughly enjoyed last Thursday’s ride to get the Ducati MoT’d. Both machines now back on the road and looking forward to some decent weather.

Blimey, what’s with the orange “ buffering “ symbol on the forecast? Can someone please remind me what that means …?
